As a basis of our search stack, we chose to build on top of the Lucene-based Elastic Search open-source project.
Using our knowledge and experience of the content discovery problem space, we have created a purpose-built stack. Covering content ingestion, transformation, enrichment and indexing.
On top of the search indexes, sits our search engine which interprets a query into a more structured form before execution. It then creates the response according to a set of business rules before returning the results to the client via REST API.
